Volunteer Project Updates
Changes to Volunteer Projects
This article is for clients who have previously used the Volunteer Project feature in Forestree.
What's new
Volunteer Projects now come in two types:
- Inspection: volunteers can now carry out inspections that include pests and diseases.
- Works: works projects serve the same purpose as the previous Volunteer Project.
What's changed
Previously, you created a volunteer project by simply clicking Volunteer Project. There was no form or task selection.
Now, to create the same type of project as before:
- Select Volunteer Project.
- Select Works.
- Select a form. We have set up the Marion Heroes Form for you.
Instead of creating account, volunteers can join a project via secret code.
What stays the same
- Volunteer management is unchanged.
- Assigning volunteers to a project is unchanged.
