Adding Aerial Imagery to Forestree
If you have an existing subscription to an aerial imagery services provider (e.g. Nearmaps, MetroMap etc.), you can add your API key to Forestree's Admin Settings and receive the latest imagery in Forestree.
- First, you'll need to obtain an API key from your imagery service provide:

For MetroMap, learn how to obtain a key here:
- Once you have the API Key, log into Forestree, then go to Admin Settings > General, scroll to the bottom and update the Aerial Imagery Provider section.
- Next, choose your provider from the dropdown list (e.g. Nearmap, MetroMap, ERSI Tile Service etc.). For new MetroMap users, please choose MetroMap v3 (XYZ) from the Provider dropdown.
- Then enter your API key:
- Click Save.
Once you've added the API Key you'll always get the latest imagery on the maps.
