Import Storms in EM Layer

Prerequisites

• Forestree Uploader set up ( Article )
• A folder containing all photos to upload ("Folder")
• a CSV file containing
  • filename: example 'Some street.jpg'
  • longitude
  • latitude

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Upload Images
   1. With Forestree Uploader, upload the folder containing all images and note down the 'path' and folder name. Folder name should look like "1759369918".
2. Create storm or use existing storm
   1. Admin goes to Forestree and click on "Manage Storms"
   2. Create a new storm and set the start and end date
3. Go to the storm on the Storm List
   1. After creating storm, it should show up on the list and click to select the storm
4. Click on "Add via CSV"
   1. A popup should appear, attach the CSV to the CSV field
   2. Select the folder containing the photos from the list
   3. Click submit
   4. Import logs table will show the live import progress

Once completed, "Storm List" should be populated with storm works and the associated street. Click on "Storm Map" to access the interactive map.
